After much deliberation and a bit of arguing, I have finally chosen the best combination of the applicants of the Event Team. In my thought process, I was looking for creativity, design skill, and dedication. Each member I have chosen exemplifies one or more of these characteristics around the forums. Without the help of the VFKForums Staff, I would not have been able to make this decision.

There were many applicants. I can say that you all did a great job in your thoughts and words. I enjoyed reading all of the applications submitted. If you weren't chosen for the team, don't be upset. You are still a good candidate, you just didn't fit into the picture I had for the team. I encourage you to continue building your skills and forum reputation and maybe one day you can reach the stars.

So, I think you've all had it with my speech... So, why not announce our newest Event Team members? Let's roll them out...

Thimble - Thimble by far had one of the best applications I have read in my lifetime. Her ideas and thoughts amazed each and every member of the VFKForums staff. She was unanimously voted into her new position. Thimble has been a member since the Forums have started and has posted over 2,000 times. With her recent promotion to Chat Mod, there is no doubt in my mind she is dedicated to VFKForums and advancing its boundaries. I feel she will bring creativity and design to the Event Team. I am proud to welcome her to the team.

Tomorrow - Tomorrow was another perfect applicant for the position. His idea inspired our staff members to vote him into this position. Tomorrow has also been a member of the forums since June of 2008, with over 4,000 posts in the forums. He is dedicated to the staff and to his new event ideas. I am excited to see what he will add to this team. I believe he will bring a sense of creativity and organization to the Event Team. These key aspects make him a vital choice in my mind. Welcome to the team!

ihavewaycutecats - ihavewaycutecats was another easy choice for the moderators. Having joined in March of 09, she has accumulated nearly 3,000 posts. She is on VFKF daily and also dedicates her time to Staff Wars. Her idea was impeccable, and me, being a nerd, I loved each and every one of her school games! She is a welcome addition of creativity and dedication. I believe she will make a great fit on the team and a great fit in the hearts of the users. I trust her to do a good job in the following months and maybe years. Congrats!

hyperactivekingon - It was easy picking hyper for the Event Team. Joining the forums in June of 2008, he has made over 4,000 posts. His room designing abilities are amazing and blow my mind out of the water. I feel he will make an excellent addition to the Event Team in the areas of design and organization. I welcome him to the position and hope that his designs will inspire users to have a little bit of fun and win an award or two. I have great hopes for his future on VFKForums. Welcome to the team!


I am confident that this new team will be a perfect one here and in-game. I have chosen the best of the best.
